Given a choice would you like to have lived in the past, live in the present, or live in the future?

For some the idea of living in the past produces a sense of wonder… getting to see first-hand the advances made in society, perhaps meeting some great leader or person from the past...exploring life as a result of change.

Others would want to live in the future, seeing the past as full of dislike and fear, the dark ages etc. Some view things as getting better in the current state (Trump not included) and with advances in science and technology the future would be the best choice.

And others, such as myself, see the present as the way to go. I’d, as a Jewish gay man not want to live in the prejudice and darkness of the past, and I am fearful that the future just makes man be more man-like…being able to express his true darker nature with the flick of a wrist. I am not sure how to say what I mean in a great clear way, but let me give you an example. We have anti-Semitism, and homophobia now, haters going to hate. And with advances in technology we have made it made it easier for these people to spread their hate in ways thought impossible long ago. I can just see in the future what advances in technology will come faster and faster compared to changes in mankind.

How about yourself?
